October 5, 2005 (Press Release) --
Southfield, MI - C.S. Wright, author of Traverse City in Vintage Postcards and Petoskey in Vintage Postcards, has not written a single word since finishing his last project for Arcadia Publishing in April of 2004. That is about to change.
His sights are now set on the largest Masonic Temple in the world, the Detroit Masonic Temple, home to the Masonic Theater, a Children's Learning Center and home to a number of Freemasons. Historically significant, this landmark looms over Temple Street in the heart of downtown Detroit, a reminder of days gone by. While the Masonic Theater still plays host to numerous plays and concerts, the building itself is almost an architectural anonaly in a city which is trying to resurrect itself. There are few buildings in today's world that feature the craftsmanship displayed in this gem.
Unsure as to whether his publisher will have an interest in the book, Wright feels as though this is a story worth telling. Odds are that the theater goers of Detroit and Freemasons around the world would all agree with him.
