October 7, 2005 (Press Release) --
NEW YORK, Laura Tran, Ph.D., believes that everybody has the highest potential and that they can tap this power from within to make needed changes to have the best quality of life possible. That belief leads her to learn and practice many tools and techniques to support her clients. The quality of life has a great impact on how people live and the way they live their lives impacts the quality of their life. She also believes the mind offers great opportunities for people to take a hand in improving the quality of their lives.
Believing that tasty and healthy food flavored life, she owned and operated a Japanese restaurant in the west Village. Believing that laughter added spice to life, Laura opened the restaurant to comedians to perform.
In 1985, Laura quit smoking using hypnosis. She realized she could more directly impact both the quality and health of people around her in ways that were more satisfying than the restaurant could offer. Believing that the mind has keys to contentment, she studied hypnosis and philosophy. She went through rigorous training at Dynamic Changes Hypnosis Center in New York City and afterwards became a stop-smoking specialist at Smoke Free International in California, using a system with a very high success rate. She earned her Ph.D. in Hypnotherapy in 2004. She furthered her studies with NLP (Neuro linguistic programming, the language to communicate with concious and unconcious mind). Combining hypnosis with philosophy, Laura believed that she could work on a deeper and more complete level.
At first she concentrated on health issues, specializing in smoking cessation and weight loss. She soon realized that health was one aspect of life that could be improved with hypnosis. Happiness and personal contentment were equally important. Just as laughter added spice to the food she offered, nourishing more the mind as well as the body.
Her Buddhist upbringing convinced her that the highest potential of each person, in a nutshell, the soul, needs nourishment. This conviction helped her to explore and create extensive experience in the field of hypnosis and NLP to enable the manifestation the sophistication of the human heart and mind. She developed many programs to assist her clients in improving the quality of their lives. One of her favorites was a program she calls irresistibility training.
Hypnotherapist Laura possesses sensitivity and wisdom to facilitate health and well-being. She became a non-smoker fifteen years ago when she started to study hypnosis. As a compassionate hypnotherapist, Dr. Tran's passion is to give her all to those who wish to improve the quality of their lives.
