Southern Cosmetics, Inc. to Close Transaction With Naomi, LLC

LONG BEACH, Calif., Oct. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Southern Cosmetics, Inc. (OTC: SHCM), a progressive internet based direct marketing company and provider of choice cosmetics headquartered in Long Beach, CA, is closing a transaction of an asset purchase with Naomi, LLC, a leading cosmetic company endorsed by Naomi Judd. Southern Cosmetics, Inc. previously entered into a letter of intent with Naomi, LLC on September 14, 2005. The asset purchase transaction is scheduled to close on October 12, 2005 and it is anticipated that Southern Cosmetics, Inc. will acquire substantially all of the assets of Naomi, LLC. With the transaction, future products will focus on products that promote anti-aging, health and self-image, and maintaining a healthier life style.
