MapuSoft Technologies, LLC announced today the opening of a software development center in Chennai, India.

October 11, 2005 (Press Release) -- October 11th, 2005, Mobile, AL - MapuSoft Technologies, LLC announced today the opening of a software development center in Chennai, India. This office will expand MapuSoft’s technical capability to develop and customize their OS Changer(R) and OS Abstractor(R) products.

“There is a greater need than ever to develop OS independent code and re-use legacy applications. This expansion of MapuSoft will ensure that new operating systems can be quickly added to OS Changer and OS Abstractor so MapuSoft can offer a wider range of porting solutions,” said Raj Johnson, president and CEO of MapuSoft Technologies.

“With the opening of a development office in India, MapuSoft can offer more complete porting services economically,” said John Vedanayagam, Director of Operations for MapuSoft India. He added, “Embedded software companies in India will also greatly benefit from this operation’s technical capabilities.”

OS Abstractor APIs gives the ability to effectively develop code independent of the underlying OS to protect your software investment and allow your application to run on multiple operating systems. OS Changer protects your existing software investment and knowledge base by giving developers the option to re-use legacy code on a new OS.
