October 19, 2005 (Press Release) --
Last month, CCT Solutions - an Atlanta based software training and consulting services firm - began partnering with The Coca-Cola Company to provide instructor-led training resources for a program Coke created to solve one of the hurdles facing many companies today - how to provide instructor-led training to employees that could benefit from it, but don't have the time to participate in a traditional, day-long course.
The program - which covered topics ranging from creating more effective PowerPoint presentations to more advanced subjects like the use of pivot tables in Excel. The one-hour seminars were offered in a voluntary, open-enrollment format that were well attended and billed as a great success. Participants were also coached on tips and shortcuts that would make use of Microsoft Office applications more efficient and there was even time reserved for employees that wanted to bring their own files and receive specific, individual assistance called 'Ask the Expert.'
The program, created entirely by a Coca-Cola technology training group managed by Johnnie F. McKenzie, seemed to hit the right balance between the needs of Coke's employee's and the limited time afforded by busy schedules, based on the overwhelmingly positive feedback the program received.
The Coca-Cola Company has been partnering with CCT Solutions, Inc. to deliver software education solutions to its employees since 2001.
