Wolfe PR Relocates to Tucson; Firm Specializes in Journalistic News Release Writing and Distribution
Wolfe Public Relations, a PR firm that specializes in news release writing and distribution to local, regional and national media, has relocated from Maine to Arizona.
The firm, which was founded in 1993 by former Tucsonan Beryl Valverde Wolfe, currently serves clients in tourism, hospitality, law, banking, healthcare, business, government and non-profits who want to send out news releases out to industry, business and consumer media.
Wolfe PR also serves clients in Mexico and has a page in Spanish on its website, www.wolfepr.com. Wolfe, who learned Spanish at the University of Arizona’s Guadalajara Summer School and lived in Venezuela and Spain, can be reached at beryl@wolfepr.com or (520) 207-9581.
The firm takes a “journalistic” approach to PR, writing all news releases in AP style and following the media’s formats, deadlines and protocols. The firm also provides other services, such as PR planning, press list development, media relations training and advice, event pr and writing and editing of web materials, but it’s primary service is news releases.
Wolfe is a 1976 graduate of the University of Arizona and worked as a reporter in Bisbee, Sierra Vista and in South America before serving as press aide to Rep. Morris K. Udall in Washington, DC. She also worked for the ad agency WFC Westcom in Tucson in the mid to late 80s. Her husband and business partner, Jason Wolfe, is a former Pulliam Fellow who won numerous writing awards while working as a daily newspaper reporter for 12 years before joining the firm.
