Leo Bauby is a collector and life long Chicago White Sox Fan who has gathered the largest collection of White Sox baseball photos in history. It’s so extensive in fact, that former White Sox players come to him to get nostalgic photos.
Leo began collecting White Sox photos and newspaper clippings with his grandfather in the 1970’s. As a life long fan of the White Sox, he was simply fueling his interests; but it soon turned into a passion rather than a hobby. He started buying private photographers’ collections of old White Sox photos from around the country.
He decided to share his love of White Sox baseball with everyone, so he started Chicago-baseball-photos.com. His collection of baseball photos is comprised of nearly 200 thousand pictures, almost 3 thousand of which are online. These pictures include wire photos and newspaper clippings, many of which can’t be found elsewhere. They date from the early 1900’s through this historic 2005 season. These photos are updated daily and are available for viewing and purchase at:
