Alexandria, VA body language & detecting deception expert, Janine Driver, the Lyin’ Tamer, has secured one of the coveted auditions for Nick @ Nite's Funniest Mom in America Contest.

October 28, 2005 (Press Release) -- WASHINGTON, DC—October 28, 2005—On Tuesday, November 15th at 8:00 PM, at the DC Improv, located at 1140 Connecticut Ave. NW, Washington, DC 20036, Driver will return to her stand-up comedy career. According to Nick@Nite’s contest announcement, “One lucky winner will be chosen to develop her own original show for the network, win $50,000 plus host a special night of programming on Nick @ Nite.”

Driver said, “For ten years, I taught cops how to communicate with crooks, so I plan to write jokes about my son not being able to get away with anything! ‘Son, mommy knows you’re lying by the way you placed that glass of milk on the table!—Now GET on the naughty mat!’” Driver, a new mom of a 4-month old son is an international comedic public speaker who offers unique communication courses such as; “How to Read People in 10 Minutes or Less,” “Detecting Deception: The Truth About Lying,” and “How to Have a Date 6 Nights a Week (if you want! )”. She is also a former stand-up comedian who shared the stage with Chris Rock, Ray Romano, and Robin Williams.

“It’s been years since I’ve done stand-up! It’s not as easy as it looks,” said Driver. “However, with being a new mom, I’m always kept on my toes, which will hopefully come in handy at the audition!” This year's Nick @ Nite’s Funniest Mom in America competition is a six-part series. According to www.tvland.com/nickatnite, there will be five 30-minute episodes, where semi-finalists will be given the chance to live together and compete for a spot in the series finale an hour long stand up comedy competition.
