October 30, 2005 (Press Release) --
On July 7, 1987, Bret Michaels and several members of the bands Poison and Ratt went shopping at White Lakes Mall in Topeka, Kansas before their concert later that evening at The Kansas Expocentre. While shopping in the Jeans West store, Mr. Michaels signed autographs for staff members who spent 1.5 hours helping him pick out new clothes. These autographs, along with the "yellow copies" of the receipts from the clothes that were purchased, are now being auctioned on eBay.
The items included in this auction are:
Two Bret Michaels autographs ("Kevin, Bret Michaels" and "Denna, Love Bret Michaels")
One autograph from an unidentified rocker or rocker assistant RS (which might read "Thanks for the clothes, RS Valed")
Two receipts that show the clothes that they purchased on 7/7/87
A Ratt Poison ticket stub
All of these items have been preserved under plastic and are in excellent condition.
The auction can be found at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6573356891&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1.
