Holistic Junction is delighted to present the Atlanta School of Massage as its featured school of the week.
Situated in the historic, southern city of Atlanta, Georgia, Atlanta School of Massage has the vision that "Together we grow to serve through healing touch."
Atlanta School of Massage offers their 750-hour Signature Massage Program which includes:
-Neuromuscular Therapy (NMT)
-Swedish Massage and Deep Tissue Therapy
-Spa Therapies
-Reflexology
-Seated Massage
One of their multiple certification courses, Swedish Massage & Deep Tissue Therapy offers training in:
-Polarity
-Therapeutic Touch
-Cross Fiber
-Deep Transverse Friction
-Assisted Massage
-Deep Tissue (gliding style) and
-Connective Tissue
Additional certification courses are comprised of but not limited to: Spa Therapies, Asian Bodywork, Neuromuscular Therapy, Orthopedic Physical Assessment, Special Populations, Seated Massage, Reflexology and Related Topics.
Providing a 30,000 square foot facility for classes and student clinics, typical class sizes at Atlanta School of Massage average about 12 students per instructor. Additionally, the Atlanta School of Massage was "...named a 2004 School of Distinction by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT)."
