The BayDock 800 allows Creative Source to fully protect client investments by providing a reliable back-up service. This high-tech system protects investments and customer relationships by giving the customer peace-of-mind knowing that Creative Source will not lose their project files. Not only is Creative Source protecting client investments, but Creative Source is also protecting their most valued investment-the customer.
The system automatically updates itself three times a day to ensure all data is safe. The “mirror” back-up system is the quickest method available because it copies files without any compression. The units transfer rates are approximately 130MB/second.
The “mirror” back-up hard drive uses three 400 Gig removable cartridges that can be safely stored off site. Once the cartridge is removed, a new cartridge is inserted, then the cycle starts again. In the case of computer failure, the “mirror” back-up system will enable the computer to start back up on its own, even if the server goes down.
