FirstSQL/J Embedded Mobile is a new SQL-DBMS supporting both J2ME MIDP (CLDC) and J2ME Personal Profile and Personal Basis as well as J2SE in small footprint configurations.

November 3, 2005 (Press Release) -- FFE Software, Inc. announced immediate availability of the first public beta for
its new RDBMS -- FirstSQL/J Embedded Mobile Edition.
Embedded Mobile is a special packaging of the standard FirstSQL/J RDBMS for a small footprint, supporting J2ME and suitable for other embedded
configurations.
The Beta for FirstSQL/J Embedded Mobile can be obtained through at firstsql.com.

FFE described the new product as bringing standards based database processing to embedded and mobile systems.
FirstSQL/J Embedded Mobile includes full support for J2ME (Java Micro Edition) as well as for J2SE (Java Standard Edition) in small footprint
configurations.
Embedded Mobile DBMS has components for both J2ME MIDP (CLDC) and J2ME Personal Profile/Basis (CDC).
