Joel Campbell joins the INLINE team as Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Dulles, VA – November 8, 2005 – John Tibbitts, CEO of INLINE Corporation, is please to announce the appointment of Joel Campbell as Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Mr. Campbell Joins INLINE after serving as the Senior Vice President of Corporate sales for the Earthdata Group. While at Earthdata, his responsibilities included managing the worldwide sales strategies for the Earthdata group of companies as well as managing the daily sales activities.
Prior to Earthdata, Joel was the Director of US Sales for ESRI as well as the Manager of the Washington, DC Regional Office. As part of his responsibilities at ESRI, he managed the Regional Office operations in the US as well as directed the Federal Sales Division. With over a decade of experience with ESRI, Joel is well versed in the use of GIS in a wide variety of organizations. Under his leadership, the DC regional office grew to nearly 150 employees focused on providing software and services to the regions diverse customer base. A frequent speaker for ESRI, Mr. Campbell has traveled extensively throughout the world talking about the benefits of GIS, the trends in the industry and ESRI’s vision.
Before joining ESRI, Mr. Campbell was a product manager for Kb Systems, Inc., a Clearwater, Florida based Software Company. In that role he oversaw the implementation and support of computer systems used by local government tax jurisdictions. Mr. Campbell also spent 5 years working in local government in Jacksonville, Florida. As a political appointee, Mr. Campbell was responsible for the implementation of many data processing systems to support the organization’s modernization, including a city-wide GIS. Educated in Broadcast Communications at the University of Maryland, Mr. Campbell spent nearly 10 years in various positions in the commercial television industry before beginning his career in Information Technology.
