November 10, 2005 (Press Release) --
Complinet, a leading supplier of compliance, human resources information and software solutions for the UK and US financial services sectors, have enhanced their benefits package by offering employees the ability to purchase a range of tax-free benefits including home computers, bicycles and childcare vouchers. Complinet currently employs over 160 people in its offices in New York and London.
In March of this year, Complinet asked thomsons online benefits to rebroke all their benefits, and then to implement and communicate their online employee self-service solution "Perquisite". This move boosted the take up of the pension scheme amongst employees by 20 per cent and encouraged the majority of employees to take advantage of the private medical insurance on offer.
Sheena McLullich, HR Director at Complinet comments:
"Moving our benefits online ensured that all our employees were aware of all the benefits that they received and their value. Previously promoting and keeping employees up-to-date with their benefits package required constant communication on behalf of the HR team. By implementing self-service technology we have been able to give employees control over their own benefits and the ability to get all the information they need 24/7 without the need to contact HR."
“Eliminating this administration and communication burden has given us the time and confidence to enhance our existing package by giving employees the chance to buy tax free benefits.”
McLullich calls this a "logical step" which fits with their reward strategy of providing benefits which make employees feel good about their job.
Employees will be able to purchase the new benefits through the “Perquisite™” platform provided by thomsons online benefits.
