November 12, 2005 (Press Release) --
Are you one of out every eighteen women in the Unites States who owns a business? Whether a new woman entrepreneur or a successful businesswoman, Performax offers a new style of business forum guided by a coach who has been a business owner herself. The Learning Immersion Forum for Entrepreneurs (LIFE) will guide businesswomen in harnessing the power of peer advisory and planning, enabling them to breathe new LIFE into their businesses and personal lives.
Performax is currently searching for fourteen women leaders to comprise the pilot community of woman entrepreneur peers who will test drive the program. Performax will waive the $4600 LIFE Program fee for the pilot group in exchange for active participation and focused feedback in the test run. The pilot LIFE program debuts on November 15th in Charleston, South Carolina. Additional groups of women business leaders will be forming soon around the country. Women not selected for the pilot LIFE group are eligible for future LIFE forums at the regular fee.
The LIFE Program by Performax answers the needs of women business owners in search of ways to strengthen their natural abilities to connect, relate and multi-task, as they evolve in both business and personal life contexts. A recent survey by Ketchum Global Research Network estimates that 61% of women 25- 54 feels overextended in many different directions, constantly using their “multi-minding” abilities. Yet properly used, that talent can be a powerful business strength. The LIFE Program takes women’s innate talents and builds on them.
Anne Newell, Performax President, is a career business coach and consultant. Having owned a small business for over 25 years, she understands the unique needs of the woman entrepreneur. “There’s no doubt that women do business differently than men. Unfortunately, most of the programs and services available to assist business owners in aspiring to greater success teach us to be more like men that hinders the women entrepreneur from attaining sustainable growth,” states Newell.
“LIFE creates micro-communities of like-minded women professionals using a peer group plus coaching and mentoring approach that provides in-depth analysis of each entrepreneur’s business needs and fosters each participant to create her own vision of success, enabling her to set clearly defined, achievable goals,” Newell adds. The multi-faceted LIFE system explores customary business topics using Performax’s unique approach centered on the natural abilities of the woman entrepreneur. The LIFE Program consisting of eight, quarterly full-day sessions over two years, plus virtual peer advisory and structured networking, costs $4600.
