MediaChoice releases new online shoe store review website to help consumers choose the best online shoe retailer for them.
For_Immediate_Release:

November 16, 2005 (Press Release) -- Phoenix, Arizona, (November 6, 2005) -- Major online shoe retailers such as Zappos.com and ShoeMall.com offer every type of shoe in a variety of categories making shoe shopping more enjoyable and convenient. The goal of these shoe stores is to provide you with what they feel is the best shoe store shopping experience in a cost effective, timely fashion. As a result, consumers are seeing lower prices, faster shipping and improved customer service. But which one is best for you?

To help you pick the service that is right for you, MediaChoice, Inc. has created a new website offering ratings and reviews of several of the web’s largest footwear sites. The free review site is now available to the public at www.shoes-reviewplace.com. The site points out retailers that specialize in certain types of shoes like narrow shoes or extra wide shoes and the sites that specialize in lower body health care products for feet, legs, ankles and back are easily found, as well as sites that carry particular shoe brands such as Puma, Adidas, Converse, New Balance, Reebok, and Nike.

A new Burst! Media survey of more than 6,000 web users aged 18 years and older found that over three-quarters of them are online shoppers. Burst! found that three out of five (62.8%) online shoppers say the Internet is their primary source of information when evaluating and comparing products. (Information provided by eMarketer.com)

www.shoes-reviewplace.com compares pricing, delivery and inventories of the best online shoe stores. The consumer is able to easily browse by categories including, women's shoes, men's shoes, boys’ shoes, girls’ shoes, children's shoes and shoe styles. “The popularity of our RatingZone entertainment website told us that consumers were interested in learning more about products before making purchases. So it made sense for us to extend our product line to include footwear and shoe retailers”, says Arnie Kuenn, CEO & president of MediaChoice, Inc.

RatingZone (www.RatingZone.com), the company’s first website, uses a patented technology to make recommendations of entertainment items such as books, music and movies. The system accurately predicts what individuals might enjoy, and helps them avoid the ones they won't. Where appropriate, MediaChoice plans to incorporate this same technology into its new ReviewPlace websites.

The company currently offers more than 24 review sites covering topics such as jewelry stores, real estate, and even cooking recipes. To see a comprehensive list of the review sites visit www.reviewplace.com. “We continue to develop and expand our large family of consumer oriented review sites every week”, added Mr. Kuenn.
