MAFIA RECORDS LOOKS FOR WORLDWIDE TALENTED ARTISTS

(Free-Press-Release.com) November 17, 2005 -- If you think you have great talent and potential get in contact with us. Any type of music, any age, and race etc. we want to hear from you. We are looking for Producers, DJs, Rappers and MCs, Singers and Songwriters and Dancers. To date we have had many demos from people in countries like the UK, USA, Canada and Australia.

# We don�t discriminate upon race, age, sex/gender, disabilities, size and weight, location, sexuality and background.

# We are looking for almost every genre including but not limited to Hip Hop, Garage, R&B, Soul, Country, Pop and Drum n Bass

# We support the 1% to charity scheme. Each artist picks a charity, non-profit organisation or community project to support.

# Record Contracts are around half the size of major labels: makes you wonder what the rest of major labels contracts say! We don�t stop you having a life.

# Worldwide Distribution and Promotion; Our sister Company Influence Promotions Ltd. handles both promotion and management of artists. Our sister company Mafia FM Ltd. is a radio station (and soon to be a Sky TV Channel).

# We own Mafia Records Licensing Agency - Licensing and Protecting Mafia Records Music and Intellectual Property: invoicing violators.

# We own UA Records - Developing the artists of tomorrow, and acting as a dedicated A&R Department for Mafia Records.
Demos should contain:
1) The CD(s) or tape(s) - with contact info! [We currently accept tapes but wont in future, CD's are preferred]
2) Bio - short/full (up to you) - we love reading about potential artists as it gives as a major feel of how they would be like etc.
3) Picture - Signed if possible, well you need to practice if you are to sign all those autographs! - We need to see if you match the image we looking for

4) Letter - Stating your contact details, why you sending a demo etc. - try to promote yourself on a single sheet!
Demos ideally should also contain:

5) Track Listing - Song name, any featured artists, about the song, inspirations, background, what aspects you like etc.
6) FREE Tickets to your next live performance (if applicable) - well we want to know if you can perform live or not!
7) Any Newspaper/Magazine clippings of you, Radio/TV interviews and appearances - we want to know if you are a mini celeb or not ;)
8) CV/Resume

EVERY DEMO IS COLLECTED AND A PORTFOLIO IS MADE THIS IS THEN PUT IN FRONT OF A COMMITTEE WHO DECIDES ABOUT DEALS.

Incorrect post code and/or PO Box number may mean we will never receive your demo. An incorrect box name or department to the correct PO Box and Post Code may never arrive to its proper location and if it does its likely to delay your demo being seen.
