Companies can meet their backup/recovery and replication needs through an integrated solution
For_Immediate_Release:

November 25, 2005 (Press Release) -- San Jose, California – Sonasoft Corp. announces the availability of its unique Backup/Recovery and Disaster Recovery solution for Microsoft Exchange and SQL servers. The new offering is an affordable and easy to use solution specifically designed for addressing the pain points of SMB customers.
Today, one has to choose one solution for backup recovery and another solution for replication or disaster recovery. Customers have to deal with two disparate solutions from two different vendors and they are not integrated. Also, the combined solution is very expensive and it is beyond the reach of many SMB customers. Sonasoft offers an integrated backup/recovery and replication solution which is easy to use and costs one-fifth of what it will cost to implement other solutions.
With increasing dependence of business on Exchange and SQL servers, customers are demanding quick recovery of emails and databases and also instant failover to a local or remote server in case of a disaster. This concept may mean survival of business in case of a major destruction. Disaster recovery alternatives are very expensive and too complex to implement. Sonasoft is the first company to offer an affordable, easy to use and automated disaster recovery solution that can be implemented within couple of hours.
The SonaSafe® solution is a centralized management based software which provides automated disk-to-disk backup and recovery via an easy-to use point and click GUI. SonaSafe Backup and Recovery Suite offers total protection through reliable backup and gives customers the ability to be up and running quickly in case of system failure or total disaster. SonaSafe application also maintains a redundant, standby server by continually updating the data with that retrieved from the primary system. The standby system can take over instantly in the event of primary system failure. The standby system can be on-site, or located at a remote site for protection against natural or man-made disasters.
“SonaSafe is dependable, easy to use, saves time during disaster recovery, and well worth the investment in the software”, said Kazam Ali, Network Engineering Manager at Loan City.
“Microsoft Exchange and SQL Servers are being increasingly used by many mid-market companies. Sonasoft took the initiative and designed its solution to address specific pain points and needs of SMB customers. By using Sonasoft’s SonaSafe solution, customers can easily deploy a disaster recovery solution within a short period of time”, noted Neil Kumar, VP of Operations at Sonasoft.
Key Benefits to Customers:
 Affordable, easy-to-use disaster recovery solution for Microsoft Exchange and SQL servers
 Ideally suited for SMB Exchange and SQL environments
 Inexpensive cost effective solution that can be implemented within couple of hours
 The standby server can be anywhere; no distance limitation
 Meet regulatory compliance requirements like Sarbanes Oxley, HIPAA etc.
 The standby server is available for testing/searching/monitoring purposes
 Ability to load balance by distributing mailboxes across multiple Exchange Servers
 Facilitate migration of Exchange and SQL servers from one version to another
