CINCINNATI, Ohio, December 1, 2005 –- Videogame Vacation today announces the official launch of their unique videogame-themed stickers and online community. Based on the black-on-white oval stickers offered at luxury resorts around the world, Videogame Vacation stickers feature famous locales from videogame worlds.
"Gaming icons have been popping up on everything from clothing to candy over the past few years," said Shawn Sackenheim, founder of Videogame Vacation. "But there’s never been anything like our product. Not only is it a clever play on those familiar resort stickers, we let gamers give their input and decide which videogame locale will make for the next sticker."
The first offering -- featuring the initials ‘MK’ for the Mushroom Kingdom -- is only the beginning. Gamers have a unique opportunity to direct future releases from Videogame Vacation. Visitors to the website can simply vote in a secure online poll for their top choices or submit a locale they’d like to see. Alternatively, by joining the online forums, they can meet other gamers and staff members to discuss new sticker locales and vote once the top choices have been narrowed down.
