We at Holistic Junction hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Welcome back as we cordially invite you to our newest Holistic Junction Poetry Challenge!
Our Current Poetry Challenge will begin on Sunday, November 27th, 2005.
Winners will be announced the following Saturday, December 3rd, 2005.
All poetry challenges are sponsored each week beginning on Sunday, with entries being judged and announced the following Saturday.
A Weekly "Blue Ribbon" Winner will be critiqued and chosen from all Poetry Challenge Entries. Winners will have the honor of being displayed for the ensuing week on our "Weekly Winner's Page" and separate Press Release as well.
Additionally, 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place winners will receive HolisticJunction.com's premiere "Certificates of Honor; which you may download and print for personal and public display.
*The Poetry Challenge THEME for Week Beginning November 27th, 2005 is:
*** WINTER (PARODY)***
NOTE: This week, we're looking for a *Parody of your favorite song lyric or famous poem, written to a winter theme. Please have your entries submitted by 06:00pm EST on Friday, December 2nd, 2005.
*A Parody is a literary or artistic work that imitates or mocks the characteristic style of an author or a work for comic effect or ridicule - American Heritage(R) Dictionary
*Entries do NOT have to be titled with the theme, however they must relate to it in some form or fashion.
Holistic Junction looks forward to reviewing your Poetry Challenge submissions, as we are positive they will all be fantastic! Be sure to subscribe to the Poetry Challenge Forum Thread so you will be automatically notified of new, weekly challenges!
