December 6, 2005 (Press Release) --
West Palm Beach, FL - December 6, 2005 - Admist the recent tragedy in Central Africa, today 2008 US Presidential Contender Daniel Imperato sent his condolences to the families affected by the earthquake in the countries of Congo, Tanzania, Burundi, Zambia, and all surrounding areas.

The earthquake, which registered 6.8 on the Richter scale, struck beneath the surface of Lake Tanganyika, between Congo and Tanzania.
“The people of Kinshasa and the region are basically full of joy and very polite. They appreciate every morsel of food, or any kind of service that may provide for their benefit such as communications, education that may be offered to increase their knowledge, and so many other things like medicine, infrastructure, it just goes on and on,” said Imperato.
Imperato had many sympathetic remarks, and was touched deeply by the tragedy. Imperato had the pleasure spending time and doing work in Kinshasa and spoke out first hand experience with the region.
Additionally, Imperato reached out for Congo’s President Joseph Kabila and stated “your country is in my prayers and we will all rally around the region to help wherever we can.”
Imperato closed his statement with the following remarks, “The people of the region need to keep their faith and do their very best to regain their strong desire to build their countries and their economies. I support them all and hope that one day I will have the opportunity to represent the United States of America and its people so that I could use that authority in the global community to reach out for these very regions in the world.”
