Orbit Micro’s Network Security product line consists of over 70 different products ranging from desktop systems to rackmount servers. Theses appliances are powered by Xeon, Pentium 4, Pentium M, Pentium 3, and VIA Eden processors. Network connectivity options include Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet copper ports, as well as Fiber Gigabit Ethernet ports.
Orbit Micro’s high-end network appliances offer true wire speed throughput. Ethernet ports are connected to high-speed busses, PCI-X and PCI Express, to ensure high capacity for high-speed data transactions. These systems offer LCD displays for control and status display, additional PCI, PCI-X, PCI Express expansion for encryption cards or other devices, dense shallow rackmount form factors for space restricted environments, and flexible DC power supply options for Telco and advanced datacenter environments.
Orbit Micro provides custom design and manufacturing services, for customers looking to OEM Orbit Micro Network Appliances as their own.
