THE 3RD ANNUAL THE WORLD OF RAP AWARDS
“A Positive World”
HITS THE ENTERTAINMENT CAPITAL OF THE WORLD
The World of Rap Awards makes it's mark in history, once again, as it makes it's way to the entertainment capital of the world- Las Vegas. In it's much anticipated 3rd year, The World of Rap Awards, produced by L.A. based- G-Money Productions, LLC, will be held on Wednesday, February 23, 2006 at The Cashman Theater, Las Vegas, Nevada. Heading up this special night as the hosts for the evening are (Mr. Fashion) Kivon Lindle, Dj Jack of Spades of 103 jamz, Ms Black Texas 2005 Soraya Stringer, rap artist Shawnna. Special invited guest of such stars as Do or Die, Unique, Ivy Queen, Twista, Crucial Conflict, Mike Jones, David banner expected to highlight the event, besides the many honorees that are nominated for over 30 World of Rap award nominations.
Also included in this year's award ceremony is an added category dedicated to the newest hybrid, hip-hop craze- reggaeton and latin hip-hop. International hip-hop artists that have been invited to grace this year's stage are Ivy Queen, Tego Calderon, Spyder, PitBull, Adassa, and Daddy Yankee.
The World of Rap Awards promises to be a night of pure entertainment...hip-hop style.
The World of Rap Awards a music award presentation organized to highlight the Positive World of Rap. It is planned as an edited two hour entertainment television special. The program will be recorded on February 23, 2006. The edited program will be televised on tape delay. It will be further distributed to network, independent and affiliated television stations of significant demographic appeal across the US and International markets.
The process message that we will attempt to convey to our audiences is designed to achieve the following:
1.. To present awards and acknowledge those in The World Of Rap who have presented a POSITIVE IMAGE and POSITIVE MUSIC.
2. To present awards to those in The World Of Rap music, Artist, Producers, Engineers, Writers and others who have accomplished high standards of achievements.
3. To provide a National and International visual forum to acknowledge those in The World Of Rap, like Country and Western Music, Pop Music, Latin Music, Soul Music. Rap Music is the number one music genre in the world and it does not have it’s own award show until now.
4. To celebrate and to pay tribute to the successful national and international awareness that The World Of Rap has created.
