Consumer Survey Reveals “The Shocking Truth About The Deadly Chemicals Lurking In Your Skin Care Products!”
There are more than 5,000 ingredients being used to manufacture cosmetic products in the world today. But according to the Journal of the American Medical Association, no long-term safety data exists for most of these! Unfortunately, the average consumer is not aware of this problem. However, small business www.organicskinfood.com, is helping to increase consumer awareness about other options like natural, organic and certified organic skin care products.

Why use organic skin care products?
In a recent survey, the Consumers' Association of Penang (CAP) conducted an exhaustive market survey and random label analysis of 120 cosmetics and daily use body care products.
CAP found that ALL contain at least one or more of the following:
· ingredients which are known human carcinogens;
· substances which may be contaminated with carcinogenic by-products;
· substances that can react with other chemicals to form potent carcinogens during storage and use; or
· chemicals which are suspected human carcinogens or which have been linked to cancer in animal tests.
While there are more than 5,000 ingredients being used to manufacture cosmetic products in the world today, according to the Journal of the American Medical Association, no long-term safety data exists for most of these!
Although the average consumer is not aware of alternate options like 'natural', 'organic' and 'certified organic' skin care and body care products, websites like www.organicskinfood.com will certainly help to increase consumer awareness.
So how do you know what chemicals are in your favorite skin care product?
Here are some tips:
1. Get into the habit of reading product labels.
2. Find out what the ingredients are and whether they are natural and organic.
3. Know the real meaning of “natural”, “organic” and “certified organic”.
