December 16, 2005 (Press Release) --
It's not much, especially at today's gas prices, but who couldn't use an extra $10? With fuel costs hitting all-time highs in recent months, Jean knows every little bit helps.
Jean has long been one of Nevada's hidden gems, allowing visitors to enjoy a bit of Las Vegas from days gone by. Old-time values like the 99 cent shrimp cocktail, $2 blackjack, and nickel reel slots have become hard to find on the Las Vegas Strip, or even at downtown's Fremont Street. Jean has found a way to preserve these Vegas traditions, albeit 25 miles south of the Strip.
Rooms must be booked and paid for through the hotel's reservation system. Fuel vouchers will be handed out upon checkout and must be redeemed before December 31, 2005.
"Jean has always prided itself on the value it offers its guests," said Katherine Keleher, owner of Jean travel guide www.stayatjean.com. "The newer mega-resorts have pushed that out of Vegas over the last decade, so it's nice to see it only moved a few miles up I-15."
In addition to its various seasonal promotions, Jean also runs year-round discounts for truckers and active military. All guests with an active U.S. Military ID receive 10% off the rack rate every day of the week. Truckers can show their CDL for a $10 discount, even on weekends and holidays.
More information on Jean's Free Gas promotion, along with other Player's Club Comp deals, hotel descriptions, and Jean dining guide can be found online at www.stayatjean.com. For terms and conditions or room reservations, please call the Gold Strike at (800) 634-1359 or Nevada Landing at (800) 628-6682.
