Conducted by Don Myers, a 25-year veteran of writing, evaluating and managing local, state and federal grants for two Western states, the workshop will cover finding sources of grants, mistakes to avoid, types of grants available, major components of a grant proposal and finding Internet funding sources, among other subjects.
There are billions of dollars in grants available for practically anybody and everything and Myers wants to help organizations get their share.
Open to representatives and employees of municipal, county, state, school and nonprofit organizations, workshop fees are $225 per person for professionals and $175 for those connected with nonprofit organizations. Group rates are available upon request.
