December 20, 2005 (Press Release) --
"You knew it was bound to happen sooner or later. Santa's gone green and gold. The red suit is history, and so is the "ho, ho, ho!"
He wears a Cheesehead hat and his suit is now green and gold. He no longer chuckles ho, ho, ho.
He rides on a sleigh shouting Go Pack, Go.
Cause Santa Claus dun got a taste of Lambeau.
"If you don't believe it, you'll have to trust K.C. Williams, who puts a seasonal spin on St. Nick in his new holiday single, "Ol' Santa Claus dun Got a Taste of Lambeau." The Milwaukee country artist wrote the song as a celebration of his fvorite team, even though things have been more naughty than nice at 1265 Lombardi Avenue this year.
As Williams says "We may have a losing season, but we have never lost a seat. You can be sure Packer fans will fill every seat for the Pack's upcoming Christmas and New Year's day games. I'm a true Packer backer to the core--win or lose," Williams said. He hopes the losing season doesn't crimp stocking stuffer sales of the CD single.
To listen to a sample of the song go to Williams' website at www.kcwilliams.com.
Santa doen't need to worry about Williams wish list this year. His long-time wish to sing a Lambeau Field will come true when he sings the National Anthem at the Seahawks-Packers game on New Year's Day.
