December 21, 2005 (Press Release) --
Strong forth quarter sales of utility carts over the Internet are causing at least one company to project a great new year ahead. This article lists the top five reasons why one Detroit area ‘Minority Operated Women Owned small business’ (MOWOsb) believes that the growth trend for utility cart Internet sales will continue into 2006.
“Utility cart” is a generic term often used to refer to a service cart, housekeeping cart, janitorial cart, book cart, presentation cart, mail cart, or tilt/platform truck. Since 1999, these cart products have seen strong competition for a share of the Internet utility cart sale business. With demand exceeding supply, the Internet utility cart sale business continued to grow until 2005 when sales began to level. This leveling put pressure on sales margins, which resulted in better prices for the Internet customers. The explosion of the many Internet comparative shopping websites also had much to do with this trend.
Donson Supply, Inc.*, a MOWOsb that operates a drop ship Internet janitorial and office supply business out of Detroit, was one of the first companies to recognize the potential strength of utility cart sales over the Internet. Until recently, Donson Supply’s reputation and its repeat customers kept utility cart Internet sales growing year over year. This changed in 2005 when sales began to level off. As 2006 approaches, Donson Supply is:
1) restructuring with significantly lower expenses to fight competition with products like utility carts,
2) continuing to hold the top position in non-sponsored Yahoo search results for “utility carts”,
3) announcing with this press release that it will establish feeds to one or more of the major comparative shopping websites,
4) continuing to sell brands of utility carts that are lightweight, commercially tough, maneuverability, and
5) launching a business plan to maintain its share of the Internet utility cart business.
With the growth in utility cart Internet sales for the month of December, Donson Supply is confident that 2006 will be a great new year.
