December 24, 2005 (Press Release) --
Carlton Hockaday better known as Hockaday or Hock as some might say is one of the more melodic singer-songwriters to emerge on the 2004 music scene. Hockaday’s influences are Dave Matthews, Louis Armstrong, Sundays, Third Eye Blind, Jodici and Oasis. Just listen to one of Hock’s compositions and you will hear his influences resonating though. Hockaday rocks out with Kevin M. Thomas, who (a singer-songwriter in his own right) plays percussion for our live shows. On July 16, 2004, Artscape of Baltimore will be Hockaday’s biggest stage to date. With the forthcoming album, “3 words”, being released under Jetspeed Records of Hollywood, California, Hockaday is looking to make new friends while sharing his music with the world. “I like to entertain by playing guitar and telling a story with my songs. I hope to share my music with everyone. In turn, I hope to learn from all I share with. In addition, I love a good jam,” says Hockaday. Prepare for the musical explosion of Hockaday! Soon he’ll be everywhere for all to enjoy. “Can’t we all just jam along?”
