Gurgaon, India – Jan 2006: ValueFirst Messaging AirMail - email-to-SMS mobile text messaging SMS service - helps enterprises receive SMS alerts to maintain mission critical servers by outsourced 24X7 maintenance teams.

Many such companies earlier relied on paging networks to communicate such system failures wherein a message was paged to the service engineer/system administrator in case of a system failure. A big limitation of paging solution was that once sent, the message did not carry any acknowledgement.
