Brenda M Weber named Featured Poet for the month of January at the TRI-Studio website

Brenda M Weber, author and native of Manistique, Michigan, in the Upper Peninsula, is the featured January Poet at the TRI-Studio website.
Weber has two published books. I Promise Not to Tell, released in 2003, is an autobiograpy dealing with domestic abuse. It was named First-Runner Up in the nonfiction category for the 2005 Book of the Year, a competition held by Jada Press of Florida.
Weber's second book, John Horn-Legend of a Lumberjack, is an historical fiction and was released in 2005. Based on an actual lumberjack's grave found deep in the Upper Peninsula forest along a riverbank, the story takes place in the late 1800's.
Weber has also been writing poetry since she was fifteen and hopes to publish a compilation of her works. Some of her poetry can be found at the TRI-Studio site as well as her own website.
