Website Featuring New Gay Music Launches
(Mitchell, SD) -- Independent record label C-Sharp Productions has announced the
launch of a new website focusing on the music of new gay recording artists. The site
www.newgaymusic.com was launched this weekend and so far features one artist.
“There are people out there searching for music that is performed by gay artists, and there
are artists looking for gay fans,” label president and recording artist Chad Sharp says. “I
am the only gay artist on my label right now, so I am the only one on the site.”
Sharp said the new website would eventually feature more gay singers and songwriters.
Some of those may be signed to his label.
“I am all about finding and nuturing new talent. It is the natural course of action to add
more features to the site as things develop,” Sharp said.
Sharp, who is gay, released his first CD, “Personal” in February of 2005. The CD
featured original songs about the struggles of coming out and dealing with relationships.
In 2005 Sharp toured the midwest for the CD. Tracks have also been used on shows on
MTV. The CD is available at www.newgaymusic.com.
“Newgaymusic.com is just the start of my company and my music reaching out to the gay
market. I am excited to see where it leads,” Sharp adds.
