January 15, 2006 (Press Release) --
Bangor, UK (PRWEB) January 14,2006
A rare event is unfolding online - Someone has come up with a totally new concept for a webpage. Catering for today's traffic hungry society, www.haveyouseenthat.com are giving away link space absolutely free, in exchange for a little humour.
All that's required of the participant is to send in a 160 x 160 pixel image of something that sounds like something else. Films and TV are the most popular categories but further sections are being added every day.
One person has sent a picture of a newspaper headline reading: "..Queen Kong!". The title of the picture? "Have you seen that film?" - of course!
The game started as a time waster between a small group of friends in North Wales, UK.
Dylan, one of the founders of 'Haveyouseenthat.com' said he wasn't sure at first if people would 'get' the humour.
"It's a pretty strange game, but it makes more sense when you see all the pictures together on the website. Paul (Hanks) and I used to send funny labels we saw in supermarkets to each other, to the point where it got obsessive."
Does the game make sense? Not completely. Is it funny? Undeniably.
