Attention Songwriters! YOU could have a song co-write with Gary Baker and Frank Myers ("I Swear", "I'm Already There") or Ben Marguiles (big Mariah Carey hits) and Stacy Jones of American Hi-Fi ("Flavor Of The Week")!
Here are the contest details:
1. Two winners, one in EACH CATEGORY (Country and Pop/Rock), will be selected.
2. Winners will be selected based on the quality of the song(s) submitted.
3. A maximum of TWO SONGS per category will be reviewed.
4. Songs should be submitted on CD, along with a TYPED LYRIC SHEET for each song. Song material CANNOT be retuned.
5. Winners will be selected by a panel of music industry professionals who will make the FINAL decision.
6. All song entries, along with payment, must be RECEIVED NO LATER THAN February 24th, 2006.
7. Winners will be selected and notified by March 15th, 2006.
8. The winner in each category will receive free Registration in the 2006 Santa Barbara EXPO (a $225 value), June 1-3, 2006.
9. The winner in the Country Category will write a song at the EXPO with hit songwriters Gary Baker and Frank Myers. The winner in the Pop/Rock Category will write a song with hit songwriters Ben Marguiles and Stacy Jones (American Hi-Fi).
10. Transportation to the EXPO, meals and lodging, are the responsibility of the participants.
The CONTEST ENTRY FEE is $37 PER CATEGORY. You MAY enter in BOTH categories if you wish. However, you can only WIN in ONE category.
