His Recounts of the events in the Police Department are shocking to say the least. As well as his recounts of serving time in a jail in the same County in which he sent others, convicted of committing crimes. Even serving time with those he sent to prison
While incarcerated it became clear to me that the only way to be truly free, to be happy is to stop hiding under and behind the lies. I have certainly made it no secret that I plead guilty in Springfield District Court to Domestic A&B, Threat to commit a crime as well as intimidation of a witness. For these crimes I received 1 year in the Hampden County House of Correction, as well as a 2 year suspended sentence, while on a 5 year probationary period. Stipulations of my probation are to attend a court certified batterers counseling course and to go to Alcoholics Anonymous meetings 3 times per week. I’ve further have had Restraining orders against me by my ex-wife, my current wife and my ex-wife’s mother.
The most shameful and regrettable moments in my life are out there lying on the table for all to see; I’ve taken responsibility for my actions and have attempted to move on with my life. It’s time for others to do the same.
When asked, if he was concerned about retaliation for coming forward with this type of information, Mr. White replied, “ certainly the only thing that scares me more than a criminal running around with a gun, is a cop who considers you a “rat” or “snitch” running around with one”.
Is there a such thing as contempt of cop? “Absolutely”, Mr. White replies, there are certain crimes that you commit in Springfield where the end result after you’re caught is a virtual certainty.
Even recounting an incident where he himself went to his former employer to file an Internal Investigation Complaint and was threatened. Former Police Chief Paula Meara certainly made every effort to make filing citizen’s complaints less intimidating. Even making it possible, to file complaints at alternate locations. Yet this certainly had no effect on the shift commanders under her authority, according to Mr. White.
