Gwyn Thakur, a Marketing Veteran with more than 25 years of experience, has been appointed as the Marketing Director for the Ann Arbor based Search Engine Marketing firm, NetElixir.

From the university town of Ann Arbor, Michigan, the search engine marketing firm NetElixir made yet another announcement in a series of decisive moves towards strategic industry leadership.
NetElixir today declared the appointment of Gwyn Thakur to the post of Marketing Director, reporting to the CEO. Gwyn brings in over 25 years of marketing strategy, marketing research and marketing communications experience. Gwyn founded Effective Marketing LLC, a full service Marketing Services Agency and prior to that was the Vice President of Marketing at Carat Freeman, the largest technology media company in US.
Gwyn is a frequent speaker on face to face media and marketing strategies. She is on the board of MassWIT (Massachusetts Women in Technology). She is a Corporator at Emerson Hospital in Concord and is past board member of the Colonial Figure Skating Club where she was the membership chair. Ms.Thakur Gwyn received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Emmanuel College, a Masters Degree in Education from Suffolk University and a Masters Degree in Business from Lesley University (programs in management for business and industry).
