The world’s only virtual fixed odds betting football game to be launched on Sky Vegas Live in May 2006

January 26, 2006 (Press Release) -- Today leading gaming solutions provider Gextech announced the signing of a unique deal in which the company will supply major UK and Ireland operator SkyBet with their virtual football game, Fantastic League™. SkyBet, the interactive betting arm of satellite broadcaster BSkyB, is set to launch the innovative fixed odds betting virtual football game on Sky Vegas Live, the interactive entertainment and gambling channel, in May 2006. This is an exclusive agreement for the broadcast of the Fantastic League in the United Kingdom and Ireland only.

Fantastic League™, which is currently available for preview in London at ICE (stand 3181), takes advantage of Gextech’s adaptable virtual gaming platform. Fantastic League™ will be available not only on interactive TV such as Sky Vegas Live, but also on the internet and mobile platforms in the near future as well as through betting shops. Through this versatile technology, Fantastic League™ is able to reproduce complex team sports and provides the same betting opportunities as real live football. With unparalleled 3D graphics, the league will consist of 12 different teams playing in a weekly league and cup competition. Matches will be held every six minutes with live commentary on the play.
