Bed retailer Off To Bed continues expansion in Scotland with 7th store opening at the ever popular Birkenshaw Trading Estate in Uddingston, near Glasgow.

OffToBed opens in UDDINGSTON
Offtobed are delighted to announce its newest branch in the Offtobed rollout. The new site successfully opened its doors on Saturday 10th December 2005 in the Birkenshaw Trading Estate, Uddingston, Scotland.
Noel McGallagly, MD stated “The retail park is well know to me and despite being opened in 1972 is still one of the busiest retail parks in Scotland. Having worked in the retail park in the past I know it’s potential so we are obviously thrilled to have such a prominent 10,000sq ft unit. We actually went for the same site many months ago but failed in our initial bid however with the help of Hartley Cowley, our property agents; we were better placed this time.”
The store is OffToBed’s most ambitious yet but with direct competition from so many other bed retailers on the park such as Reids, Bensons, Archers and of course BedShed it makes the park a destination spot for anyone in the market for a new bed.
Ian Vaughan C.E.O, stated “Again another challenge for OffToBed and a major one at that. This is our second largest store in one of the busiest retail parks in the country. The turnover in this one store will be in the millions alone. We have plans to really up the ante with this one and our rivals will and should sit up and take notice of our seventh new store within six months”
Offtobed now has seven stores. Further plans are underway for stage two of the company’s growth which should see the number of stores dramatically increase over the coming months.
