January 31, 2006 (Press Release) --
New York Fashion Week is only days away. (Feb 3rd.) But getting a front row seat can be tricky unless your a 'A' list celebrity or an Editor at a Glossy Magazine. So what's a girl to do?
Fret not. Leading online fashion magazine ZOOZOOM.com can take you there in one easy downloadable step with their free ZOOZOOM Video Podcasts. This is the latest move from the leading innovator in fashion publishing.
Their Fashion Week coverage begins with a series of get-you-in-the-mood clips from last season's shows featuring spring / summer 2006 fashion. "We're going to release a few of our favorite shows from last season, to give a taste of what's to come" says ZOOZOOM Editor in Chief Kelley Quan. The selection will encompass designers from Marc Jacobs to Michael Kors with more extreme designers like The Blonds and Heatherette featured also.
The Videos will be three minutes long and will feature edited highlights of the shows, in keeping with ZOOZOOM's philosophy of 'tools not rules' the videos will be devoid of commentary and opinion. "The catwalk is where the designer speaks, let them be heard" say's Quan.
ZOOZOOM partner Mike Hartley say's he got excited about iPod Videos the moment he saw them, "They're really sexy, it's the perfect way, or should I say the second best way, to get close to the world's supermodels! "
During Fashion week ZOOZOOM plan to release a podcast each day featuring coverage from the previous day. They'll then produce podcasts over the coming weeks that focus on the shows in more detail.
ZOOZOOM Publisher David McIntyre say's "It's another first for us, we're a small fashion forward publishing company and we're able to move with the changing tech landscape. The fashion crowed is just getting into blogging, but that's so last year, video pod casts are it!"
Of course the small screen might not do the fashion justice but fear not, check out ZOOZOOM.com and see for yourselves the amazing full-screen fashion presentations that have made them famous with New York's Fashionistas.
