The Restriction of Hazardous Substance in Electrical and Electronic Equipment (RoHS) directive has been passed into law by the European Union (EC). The directive affects manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment containing lead, cadmium, polybrominated biphenyl (PBB), hexavalent chromium, and polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE). The Directive places strict limits on the uses of these materials in products sold in the EC after July 1st, 2006. All of Electro Static Technology-ITW brushes meet this strict standard; from our patented FLX-PTM peel-and-stick static dissipative brushes to our Rigid Aluminum Brushes.
