�Let me hear it!�: Mobile Telecommunications Co successfully rolls out ring back tone service Sami3n

Munich, January 26, 2006 � After successfully implementing the ring back tone service for other members of the Vodafone Group, ECT, Europe�s market leader for intelligent value-added services, has now secured Mobile Telecommunications Co (MTC), Vodafone Group member in Kuwait, as another client. MTC is now offering the ring back tone service Sami3ny (let me hear it) to its customers. The ECT Group has provided the customised user and network interfaces as general contractor. Teaming up with its regional partner Mobilink, ECT managed to land the contract following an intensive tender process. With the debut of the new service, mobile customers in the Gulf region will now be able to use personalised music, melodies, and funny messages in addition to the traditional ring back tone.

Registering for the Sami3ny service is free. MTC then charges 500 Fils (about 1.40 EUR) for each song used, and customers have the option of using brand new �pre-released� hits for 900 Fils (about 2.50 EUR) per song.

The mobile user can set different ring back tones according to caller, time of day, and date. Users can also buy and configure their ring back tones through numerous user interfaces such as the internet, IVR, and SMS.
