Two Men: One Outcome – East Meets West Peacefully
- Abu Dhabi – 2008 Presidential Contender, Daniel Imperato, from the United States of America, traveled to the Middle East to further understand US relations in the region and to create a peace plan.
“While in the UAE having several meetings pertaining to business and political matters, I want to speak about a point which is proven through my own experience, mutual respect and love for others. East and west can live together as long as there is mutual respect, understanding, and most importantly trust between the two,” stated Imperato.
After meeting in the Middle East, Imperato gained a deeper understanding of the situation in the region and urged the United States government to stop the verbal assaults and use diplomacy.
“I have spent many years doing business, studying political environment, and talking to the people of the region. After discussions with my senior Middle East advisor Nasser Al-Maisary, I come to our administration to say that the people of the United States of America must mark my words that our administration must use diplomacy with the Iranian nuclear standoff and must stop the verbal assaults,” asserted Imperato.
Al-Maisary, a well-respected businessman who lives in Abu Dhabi, also added this remark regarding Imperato’s diplomacy.
“He is family to everybody. The people from the Middle East respect Daniel Imperato because he approaches them with mutual respect in the Arabic mentality, which is the knowledge and understanding of the culture," explained Al-Maisary.
Imperato also warned that the situation developing between the United States and countries of the region could escalate to gargantuan levels.
“My words are that things may appear to be in one way but behind the scenes they are another. The situation brewing is extremely dangerous and the participants who have been involved with the discussions may not have the same agenda as they appear to,” expressed Imperato.
According to Al-Maisary, the United States should act as an advisor to the region as opposed to trying to forcefully implement all of its policies.
“Nations can change [to democracy] with America as an advisor to them in order to lead the country towards peace and the world towards peace. I greatly appreciate this from America," stated Al-Maisary.
Imperato concluded with the following statement, “quick fast and to the point, Hezbollah must be dealt with. The US and the rest of the world, must work diplomatically and peacefully with the region particularly Iran. The situation in Iraq is a piece of cake compared to what may happen if our administration doesn’t adhere and follow my plans.”
