February 15, 2006 (Press Release) --
NAACP, Native Americans, African Americans - Minorities Wake Up Call
Isn't it strange that the world hears about the abuse of Iraqi prisoners and the Jewish Holocaust, but the American Indian Holocaust at Wounded Knee is never mentioned? Nor is the current anti-Indian movement in America by several anti-Indian hate groups such as onenationunited.org or stopthecasino101.com.
Oklahoma lawmakers have made several negative statements about Hispanics, too. "They are deathly afraid of us," one hispanic leader told us. "They want us to stop speaking our language just like they forced the American Indian to do in boarding schools. And now their languages are almost lost."
Tulsa police department has also been accused of racism, resulting in a lawsuit by several African American members of the TPD.
White Americans have also formed associations to band against Native Americans. They are property owner's associations, concerned citizen's associations etc. These people know the truth, and that truth is that they are living on stolen
land that belonged to Native Americans. The Natives were never compensated for the land of America, and the Indians continue to be the target of hate groups like these, and the state governments who want to defeat the sovereign status of Indian
tribes and force them to pay taxes even from sales on Indian land or reservations.
Is this fair to American Indians? No, it's not. It's time the world and the American people face the truth and stop living a lie. Governor Brad Henry of Oklahoma has close ties to the anti-Indian groups and is bowing to Quik Trip Store CEO Chet Chadeaux's wishes.
Chadeux says the tribal smoke shops have an "unfair advantage" and are cutting into Quik Trip Stores tobacco profits.
Doesn't Chadeux known he is living within the boundaries of Cherokee Nation? Apparently, he does but doesn't care. He is ignoring the true fact that he is also living on the Cherokees' second stolen reservation. Governor Brad Henry's wife is the sister of One Nation United's cofounder Rusty Shaw. Henry's tied to racist groups run deep. Henry admit's he has ties to this hate group but says it does not affect his decisions.
Quik Trip has closed stores on the north side of Tulsa because they do not want to do business with Tulsa's black community. Quik Trip stores are located at the following locations: Tulsa and Oklahoma City, Springfield, Mo., Kansas City Mo. and Kansas, Wichita, Kansas, Des Moines and Cedar Rapids, Iowa, Omaha, Nebraska, St. Louis Mo. and Illinois, Atlanta, Georgia, Dallas-Forth Worth, TX and Phoenix, Arizona.
Scott Meachum, Oklahoma tax treasurer was overheard saying, "I tricked the dumb Indians," in regards to tobacco compacts made with several tribes.
It's time to open your eyes America. Tell the truth. Admit that you are a racist country, and that you have raped the Natives over and over. America was the first country to use bio warfare by giving Indian tribes blankets
infected with smallpox. But you only hear about Saddam Hussein's bio warfare projects or Iraq's Weapons of Mass Destruction.
If you are against racism call Oklahoma's Governor Brad Henry and tell him to stop discriminating against Native Americans.
