Amman, Jordan, February 2006: PWC Logistics was the bronze sponsor for the fifth anniversary celebrations of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) held on February 15th and 16th, 2006. The event was held in Aqaba under the patronage of His Majesty King Abdullah II.
Mr. Hani Rabie, Country Manager of PWC Logistics in Jordan, acknowledged ASEZA’s pivotal role in the development of Jordan’s local economy and stressed on PWC Logistics’ strong belief in ASEZA’s mission.
“Jordan’s economic development and prosperity are essential for the stability of our region and PWC Logistics considers its relationship with ASEZA a special one, as both strive for the development of Aqaba and the inviting geographical environment it provides for investment," Mr. Rabie explained.
Mr. Rabie added that PWC Logistics has identified Jordan as the strategic gateway for logistics in the Middle East and ASEZA is committed to facilitating trade and investing in the infrastructure required for the provision of PWC Logistics services within the Kingdom.
