BuytheMap is the first website in internet history to be selling countries, and it seems to be catching on fast!

BuytheMap has now been running for six weeks and it seems that the idea is growing more popular by the day. Achieving 50,000hits already, Frenchie the owner is selling countries on Ebay.
The current sold list includes,
Spain £100
France £100
Germany £72
Iceland £67
And many more have already been sold.
So why would anyone buy a country!
'Well it's a fun a novel concept' muses Frenchie, 'people mainly buy them to advetise as there is definately an intrigue people have as they want to see who owns which country - and the trend is definately up!'
