Alnera FeedBuster RSS Reader 1.0:
Always perfectly informed
Many info websites in the Internet now offer an RSS feed with latest current news that can be subscribed free of charge. The Alnera FeedBuster RSS Reader retrieves the content of the feeds automatically every few minutes, in order to show them in a very clearly arranged window.
Garching, Germany – Mar. 01, 2006 - The Internet is the perfect news source. Serious media like television stations, news magazines and the daily papers publish their articles every minute in the Internet. Computer magazines, online-advisers and other sources of information also place new contributions in the net all around the clock. However the constant onrush of new messages is a problem for the people. They continue to leaf constantly from one homepage to another for not missing anything.
The smarter surfer prefers another way and searches on every info homepage for a so called RSS-Feed. RSS means "Really Simple Syndication" and indicates a news source in XML-format. It records only titles and introductions of a new message - and the link to the actual homepage. Such an RSS feed is nothing else than a table of contents of all new messages in a very good order, which are published on a web page. But: How to retrieve these RSS overviews?
RSS-, ATOM- and RDF-news-feed subscription
The Alnera FeedBuster RSS Reader 1.0 presents itself as browser independent software solution. In its own window the program already presents a selection of interesting RSS feeds out of the news- and computer field.
It is very easy to add new RSS, ATOM or RDF feeds to the application. To do this, it is enough to copy the http-address of a feed into the clipboard and then to create a new entry in the RSS Reader. In this case FeedBuster inserts the web address automatically, so you only need to specify the feeds name. Many feeds can be found in RSS directories like Feedster ( www.feedster.com ).
