March 5, 2006 (Press Release) --
Songwriter Felicia Reymont has produced a delightful new take on the often-complained inequality of the sexes. It's called "I'm Coming Back as a Man."
The song speaks to the heart of every woman and her "issues" with the opposite sex. Musically addressing "girlfriends," Felicia writes "if you've ever felt overworked and underpaid; unappreciated by your man; or if you're tired of being superwoman, then this song is for you."
A member of ASCAP and the Songwriters Guild of America(SGA), Felicia has been writing words and music since she composed parody lyrics as a teen-ager in summer camp.
Her songwriting diversity is heard in another recent recording: "I'm the Mom of a Mom-to-Be," a sentimental song which asks the question: "Is your daughter having a baby?'
The song tells her how you felt when you were in her shoes and how you feel now that it's her turn. Sung first at a baby shower close to the writer's heart; it was then recorded for
grannys-to-be-everywhere.
Felicia is also the creative, ghost-writing poet on a unique website, www.rhymeshop.com, which provides custom-written toasts and tributes for personal, family and business events. She has posted audio samples of the two special songs on
the site.
