In the begining, eBay was a successful online website that sold ordinary items. Then, a few creative people dared to go where no member has gone before - INSANE! Practically over night, the crazed notion that members could search, promote, buy and sell unusual, unique and even down right weird items caught on. Following this discovery, certain members were so inspired, they decided to dedicate a website for this new frenzy!
Among those who aspired to help promote these auctions was AuctionGab.net! In July of 2005, AuctionGab.com officially formed; later, evolving into AuctionGab.net. "I wanted to help sellers and up coming eBay celebrities to attain success", the webmaster explains, "My view on eBay auctions is that we need to promote and support each other and reach out to those just learning about eBay."
Currently with 278 members and growing, AuctionGab is extremely enthusiastic about the future of the website. Their goal is to continue to improve their service and appeal to all eBay members. AuctionGab is currently spending several hours per day researching new ideas and working to improve their site. As for competitor sites, AuctionGab is completey open to networking with others to help promote one another long with advertising these bizarre auctions.
AuctionGab is the home to the eBay famous, NLRebel, and his "NLRebel's World" Comedy Series. The pre-show first kicked off in early February of 2006. Hundreds of people tuned in for his hillarious 10 minute video. With a little help from Showbren55's custom video skills and Hamper Hooper's talented theme song, this show is a sure hit!
