Arnold Palmer handing $50 dollar bills to Jack Nicklaus after a round in Houston, Tx. in the mid 1960's. For years the rumors swirled about this photo, with some, including it's subjects, insisting that it did not exist. Taken in a public area of the golf course and held under wraps for forty years by the photographer, and subsequently the photographer's family after his death, it was kept from public release because Mr. Palmer and Mr. Nicklaus both asked the gentleman who took it not to sell it to any newspapers. That gentleman and his family honored that request for over forty years, a major feat in todays stalkerazzi fueled world of scandalous photos. The family, which owns the copyright, have authorized this release now only because both men are now officially retired from the tour.
