March 12, 2006 (Press Release) --
A Boston student has jumped on the pixel ad craze and is using this new advertising concept to help nonprofits world wide.
Trey Treeful has combined her passion for writing with her passion to help people in need by creating CommunityFundSpot.com. Nonprofits may add their website to CommunityFundSpot free of charge. There is also advertising available for only $5 a spot for other businesses on the Supporting Advertisers page.
One innovative addition to this site is the Bloggers 4 Causes page. Here people can read stories about other people's volunteer experiences. Ever wondered what it's like to volunteer with the Peace Corps? Find out by reading about it on Bloggers 4 Causes! Heard of Camp For All? Check out Wabbit's blog for all the info on this great camp for kids. There are currently two free spots left for bloggers to add their own volunteer or nonprofit story.
The fun doesn't stop there! Community Fund Spot is giving away 50% of the site's revenues. Most will be given to nonprofits featured on the site, but a portion will also be given to bloggers, volunteers, and advertisers. Communit Fund Spot will match the volunteer and advertiser awards with donations to nonprofits of the recipient's choice.
This site is sure to be a success and is an unforgettable addition to the world of pixel advertising!
